Afterschool Enrichment Class Cancellation Policies

Cancelled classes due to inclement weather or emergency closings are not refundable. Make up classes are offered, only if schedule permits, at the discretion of the Executive Director. Make-up classes are held on weekdays or over the weekend.
They are not generally held on the same day of the week as the class cancelled.

Making Up Classes

If space permits, and two week notification is given, in writing, to the Executive Director, a maximum of two make up classes per semester are offered to the each student. Makeups cannot be "carried over" to next semester and are only offered in a class of the same age grouping. If the child's age grouping is only offered once a week in that VEG location, makeups can be attended at any other VEG location.

Refunds

If, after attending the first class, the teacher or Executive Director feels that VEG is not an appropriate placement for a child, a refund will be given for the total amount of the tuition paid minus the first class attended.

VEG: A Soft Place To Fall

Village East Gifted provides each gifted child with a safe and nurturing learning environment. VEG's "zero tolerance" policy is strictly enforced disallowing bullying, discipline problems, negative peer or teacher interactions and/or class disruptions. Participants exhibiting any of these behaviors will be removed from the program with or without notice.
